Morning 6.5 km warm up Run under cloudless skies, almost everyone at the beach today. This evening I will head out for a second run to be done as a hilly maximum threshold hill loop.
This morning a local 3km warm up Run under cloudy skies and light drizzle. In the afternoon a maximum threshold run on my hill loop. Where I held maximum threshold for the entire run.I ran the hill loop as planned in the afternoon and felt great again running out there and important for me to keep this session going with racing to start again in March with the Australian Masters athletics Championships coming up very soon. The afternoon run done in windy conditions, still similar to my recent erfforts. Next solid session will be done with my regular training partner on Friday.
After two days of maximum threshold runs at Parkrun panboola wetlands and a nother with my training partner today is a scheduled recovery day. This morning an 8km run from home. Weather mostly sunny although windy at times with a cold blast still persisting as it has done in recent days.

Morning 6km run from home before driving south to join the local run club for another 5km run, out and back hugging the banks of the turquoise waters of the inlet where the dogs had a couple of quick dog paddles to cool off.

Very early start to the day with a road trip south to run with my training partner. Yesterday I made my entries in the Australian Masters athletics Championships to be held in Canberra in March. Next hard session will be on Friday morning very early with my training partner to escape the worst of the heat in this hot weather.
This morning I took a road trip south to meet up with my training partner for a long run. Weather cloudy, some wind, warming up with rising of the sun.we ran a 14km loop over all terrain types including some great scenery while running just below our threshold s and talking for much of the journey. Next Friday we agreed to start an hour earlier to avoid as much of the heat as we could.
