More rain overnight which pushed out to sea before dawn, no sign of the sun until the last kilometre of the 10km Hill run. Weather cool, some wind, OK weather for running although no runners seen on my journey. In the afternoon a steady recovery run.

More rain overnight which pushed out to sea before dawn with storm cells and lightning visible on the horizon. I ran a 3 km warm up followed by my regular 10km Hill Loop at near top pace. In the afternoon an 8km recovery Run. It is only a month or so until my next Half Marathon which will be run on a hilly, often windy course I've run on many times.

Drizzle this morning, no sign of the sun until a Rainbow appeared near the end of the run. No warm up except stretching, then straight into the 10km run on my regular hill loop. I was near full pace before I got to the first big climb. Just a few dog walkers and one sole runner spotted. There is hope this weather will clear up later this morning and I can get out there again... While I waited my pair of Nike Vaporfly4 were delivered. I did a tiny run from home in them and put the shoes away after taking a few snaps. Initial impression, ultra light and bouncy, I needed to tie the laces more tight, then they were good to go...It is still wet outside but nothing that will stop me running this afternoon in some old shoes.

Rain overnight and into this morning, cloudy and cool with light drizzle, no sign of the sun, pleasant weather for running. I ran a 2.5km Warm up before heading out on a fast paced run on my usual Hill Loop. In the afternoon a steady recovery run.

Morning Runs from home including a 5km warm up, Fast Paced 10km Hill Loop and a 6km Warm Down. In the afternoon a steady Recovery Run.

Pre-Anzac Day Service 5km run from home. Weather Clear skies, Venus and a waning moon in full View. It's the one day in the year folk gather in this tiny town and fill the streets with cars and people. Within 20 minutes after the service all the cars and people had gone again and I could get out there for my second run of the day on my regular 10km hill loop followed by a 3km warm down with the dog. In the Afternoon an easy 10km Run,28km for the day.

More rain overnight leaving a pea soup fog this morning in places, clearing a little with rising of the sun. I ran 3km from home as a warm up followed by a fast paced 10km run on my normal hill loop. At noon a 5km recovery run.My Nike Vaporfly Road Racing shoes have landed in Australia. I should have them on feet in a few days.

53mm of rain overnight with more expected today, although clear and windy this morning with ominous Clouds in the sky. I ran 10.6km on my first outing starting with an out and back fast paced effort. After a short break I ran a 10km Hill Loop, my usual circuit I often use. In the afternoon a 9km recovery Run. Yesterday I ordered a pair of Nike Vaporfly4 shoes and will set these aside until my half Marathon in May.
