Beaune

Two nights, three days in Beaune. 38 degrees two days straight with thunderstorms brewing by mid-morning.

All my runs have been done in the vineyards that make the best pinot noir. I did 85 minutes this morning and even then it was too hot. All the vines were being trimmed and sprayed. I only saw one plot still using a horse with hoe. Lots of machinery.

Still running 20km every day. Next stop Epernay and champagne before heading home.
