Rottnest Island Taper Week Day 3 : 16km on Rottnest Marathon Course

Sunny, cool to warm and windy morning. Up early for my only run of the day, 16km on the Rottnest Marathon course including 2 loops of the middle section. It was nice running weather. A caught Minnie on my second loop (Minnie's first and only) and we re-enacted photos which remain on our lounge room wall from the 2007 Rottnest Marathon, exactly nine years ago today! My pace was slow to begin, increasing to a steady 4:15/km before slowing the pace down again.

This afternoon a short cycle / walk to a nearby beach at low tide and a leg soak.
