Stromlo XC Intervals 5 x 500m, 500m Recovery

Sunny, cool day for the start of the final month in this six month base building training block. This month builds a bridge towards racing on track again. After three days of no speed work at set of 5 x 500m with 500m recovery. I started slow at 3:12/km working down to 2:44/km. Splits: 1:36,1:35,1:32,1:27,1:22. The track was saturated by the rain on the weekend. Two of the bridges crossing the river were under water on Sunday. 10km for the session followed by a 10km recovery run. 123km this week.
