Stromlo XC Intervals 4 x 600m, 2500m Threshold

Early morning sessions at Stromlo with Steve at 645am and Helen at 800am. Weather cool, light winds, wet track from dew.

Set 1: Warm up, 5 x 100m strides, 4 x 600m efforts with jog back recovery, warm down. Splits: 1:55,1:52,1:44,1:43. Steve similar times with 1:49 and 1:47 for his final two efforts. Splits another small step forward. We are in very good shape for a 1500m, OK for 800m.

Set 2: Warm up, 5 x 100m strides, 2500m at threshold (Helen 4:49/km), warm down.

Track on Thursday with ACT Masters will be a low key 3000m at 6pm. Following weeks is the ACT Masters 5000m Championship. Three days after that Australian Running Festival Half Marathon.
