secret blog for killing track and Parkrun PBs scheduled rest and recovery day. ;Heavy rain continues overnight and into this morning, after some deliberation I drove south to Narooma to shop for food. while it wasn't raining at home when I left home .it was raining most of the way to Narooma and return. I was very cautious on the roads. I don't know how long this rain event will linger, the last rain event lasted several days.fingers crossed for a quick end this time. a bonus of this weather event will be watching the Santos Tour down under which will be on TV from 1130am for the first women's stage.

This morning a long, wet drive south to train with my training partner at Narooma. Weather wet and windy and we ran our often used loop mostly on the soft surfaces of the local golf course, over 12klm run all up for the morning session. Back at home the weather was still wet and  windy. Not much can be gained in weather like this.back at home in the afternoon after watching the tour down under on tvI got out there on my regular hill loop and ran a maximum threshold run to complete the day.
