Training and Racing Overview May 2022-March 2023

I'm a few weeks into base training again, a period lasting almost 12 months with a main goal of the Australian Masters Athletics Championships to be held in Sydney in March 2023. There will be few races in the period. Parkrun events and a couple of key long interval, hill and beach sand sessions will maintain fitness along with running 120km/week. Races entered or on the radar include Canberra Runners Half Marathon this Sunday, Sutherland2Surf 11km in July and City2Surf 14km in August. In January I'll step up the intensity slowly with a peak in form for the Australian Masters Athletics Championships.
