Stromlo XC Intervals 2 x 600m

Early morning session at Stromlo XC circuit with Steve. Just a short set for me.

The set: Warm up, 6 x 100m strides, 2 x 600m, 400m recovery. Splits: 1:54,1:45.( Steve 1:54,1:49,1:51,1:53...best 600m set this prep). Warm down. Afternoon recovery run to make 17km for the day, 125km last 7 days.

It looks like track season will begin on Thursday despite the arson at the track last week. 1500m is first race on the program. I'll do a full warm up and strides then run the 1500m. Rain is expected next two days. Let's hope it clears off before track.
