AIS Track 2000m Tempo ; Goulburn Fun Run 10km

Weather light drizzle, very windy, coold to cool. I jogged out to the track just in case someone turned up in the foul weather. It wasn't pleasant. Weather will be much better tomorrow. Minnie was out there doing 3 x 1km hill loops. Kathy shorter efforts on the flat. Both were in the forest out of the wind.

The set: 5km warm up, 5 x 100m (19,17,17,16,15), 2000m 6:44, 6km warm down. Easy 35 minute jog late in the day. 120km last 7 days. 110km next week.

The 2000m tempo I didn't even look at the watch, just ran solid, very easy with wind, very hard into wind. Wind was 30kph with 45kph gusts.

I entered Goulburn Fun Run 10km tomorrow. It's basically a mountain race with a flat start and finish. Due to prize money there will be at least three quick males out there, someone to chase. Marty Dent holds the male course record in 32:31, a very tough course. Weather looks like being sunny and warm.
