Beach Tempo Run 70 Minutes : Training Update
Morning 70 minute Tempo Run at Surf Beach on low tide. Perfect weather for running, firm fast sand, no wind, cloud locking in a thick salty sea mist that burn't off at sunrise. 17km for the day. This week I begin a two month training block to prepare for hard training in the new year. I already have 11 weeks of base training in the legs. Today aside from the tempo run I included some 100m strides as a warm up. I can't afford to get injured so everything I do has to be with caution and incremental.
