Beach Tempo Run 85 Minutes ; 10 x 100m Strides ; 1 x 1500m Hill Effort

Early Morning 85 minute tempo run on Surf Beach at turn of the tide. Great weather for running again, cool, no wind, hard packed sand. At the end of the set 10 x 100m strides to get the legs moving fast again and a 1500m Hill effort. Short recovery run to complete the running, 18km for the day. Typical summer afternoon and evening weather on the coast this week. Some showers and storms in the afternoon and evening. If the bulk of the running isn't done before noon training can be patchy waiting for storms to pass.
