Pre-dawn Warm up Run 4km ; Morning Race Pace Run 5km ; Afternoon Steady Recovery Run 10km ; Mini-Taper Commences

Pre-Dawn 4km warm up Run from home watching the sunrise mid-run followed by a 5km Race Pace effort wearing in My Race Day Shoes for Sunday, Nike Alphafly3 ; In the afternoon a steady 10km run ; I have already commenceded my short 3 day Mini-Taper to freshen up for the Sunday 10km Road Race as part of the Canberra Marathon Festival. I'll keep the intensity high and volume low leading into the race. Just 8 days after the 10km Road Race I'll be racing on track again at the Australian Masters Athletics Championships in Adelaide, South Australia. I'll be driving there as soon as possible following the presentations of the 10km Road Race.
