Coast Run 15km Threshold Run

Morning 15km run along the coast out and back with plenty of hills along the way and spotted a few humpback whales too. Today the run was with a new training partner. Weather sunny, warm, no wind. We ran the 15km at my threshold although there is not much difference between the two of us.

World Road Cycling Championships Watch along ; 10km Hill Loop

Last night and early this morning I spent watching what I could of the World Road Cycling Championships before cutting it short to make way for a 6km Run from home. In the afternoon another Maximum Threshold run on my regular Hill Loop with another new fastest time for me on the course and still Holding My Maximum Threshold throughout. Tomorrow morning a trip south to make an out and back Long run on a path I haven't run on recently. I'll have to leave Munchkin the Border Collie with Milli the Border Together on a play date While I go running.

Another early start to the day with a 7km run from home. In the afternoon a maximum threshold run on my 10Km Hill Loop followed by a warm down.My Threshold Run another improvement on the previous day holding form for an extra 10 minutes.

Local 7km Run Including Whale spotting off shore with a few humpback whales smashing the water repeatedly.Next We headed to Glasshouse Rocks Beaches with Munchkin and Milli the Border Collies for a set of 2 x 2km Intervals. Weather clear skies before some light drizzle moved In.

Up before dawn for a 10km Run from home before heading to Glasshouse Rocks Beaches for a set of 2 x 2km Intervals racing Munchkin the Border Collie. We were cut off from the last beach by the rising tide. During the run we spotted many humpback whales and more again from across the Road at One Tree Point. Weather Warm, full sun.

Australian Masters Athletics Championships Canberra ACT March 6-9 2026

After a few months of Base Training and a few Half Marathons It's time for me to resume my normal yearly training cycle to prepare for Competition in the Australian Masters Athletics Championships Canberra ACT March 6-9, 2026. This week is recovery from running a Half Marathon on Sunday. Next week resume training sessions and Parkrun Events.

Cool morning warming up quickly with the rising sun I ran 8km from home before heading to Glasshouse Rocks Beaches for a 7km recovery run. Back at home another run spotting a couple of whales off the coast along with dolphins and seals. The ocean flat and calm , easy to spot with more whale Spotting this afternoon, this time slapping their fins on the water repeatedly, whale migration south in full action.
