Mothers Day Classic Fun Run Canberra

Minnie, Bella and I spent the morning supporting some mothers out there. What a great day and huge turnout.

5km: Helen 21:09 1st W50, Janene 23:25 2nd W40, Jack (son of Helen) 25:58,
10km: Michelle 40:27 2nd W40, KT 43:12, Missy 47:59





Of me: A bitsa day...two runs and 20km in total.

P.S. APS United won Round 2 M50 AthsVic XCR 13 Sandown Relays...well done lads. Looking at the splits this team will be near impossible to topple in 2013.

A big weather event is brewing for much of my local area this afternoon and weekend. Up to 100mm predicted to fall with damaging winds. I've been through a few of these periods now. I've started setting up for indoor training. This morning a quick trip to the shop for supplies that the puppy will eat, another short run solo, and a short puppy training session of fetch the ball. I ran 80 minutes just before the weather arrived. Tassie Masters Athletics posted this video from the Australian Masters Athletics Championships mixed XC race a few days ago on their Youtube site. A great memory from such a great event.
