Stromlo XC Intervals 5 x 600m, 400m jog

Warm with no wind at Stromlo XC circuit this morning. Four of us there. Helen racing a hilly 10km tomorrow so light training.

The set: Warm up, 5 x 100m strides, 2 x 200m strides, 5 x 600m (2:23,2:17,2:17,1:46,1:44) warm down. I was pacing KT on the first three efforts, warming up in the process.

Thunderstorms about in the afternoon. I ran a recovery run after the lightning cleared. 21km for the day, 120km last 7 days.

Long run tomorrow, may include some speed work.
