Morning Recovery Run 12km : Diary of a Taper

Morning 12km run from home as recovery from Parkrun yesterday and a continued taper for Australian Masters Athletics Championships commencing in 5 days. Training volume is now 98km last 7 days, expected to be around 80km by the start of my first race which is a 10000m on track. I'm already feeling good in training, no niggles at all. Next hard efforts on Monday and Wednesday with a 1km effort on each of those days plus short strides to keep the legs ticking over.
