Stromlo XC Intervals 4 x 800m, 200m recovery (1:35)

Wednesday morning session at Stromlo XC circuits. Weather warm, fog clearing to full sun, dew on grass, light winds. The set: 2.5km warm up, 4 x 800m with 200m (1:35) jog recovery, 2.5km warm down. Splits: 2:39,2:34,2:30,2:25. Being my first set of this type for the season a careful start, not yet full gas in the final effort. I did feel good out there.

On Thursday evening 1500m handicap on track, possible storms about. The meet should go ahead.
