Border Collie Training Camp Day 2

Late yesterday afternoon I snuck out solo for a repeat of the morning session except the addition of a 1500m Hill Time Trial coming home(complete with Red Bellied Black snake sunning itself on the road). This morning an early start, a repeat of yesterday with a run through the Golf course down to Glasshouse Rocks Beaches and return same route (too early for snakes). We were at full gas again including stops at sea puddles for quick dips to cool off. Weather cool at dead low tide, sand hard and quick. We did head back to the beach again for a second run at low tide and made it back in time to watch the to Olympic Marathon. It was pure joy running with my friends the Border Collies and watching the brutal marathon pan out back at home. I look forward to the women's race tomorrow. It is also same day as the City2Surf 14km brutal Road Race in Sydney with a sellout starting field of 90,000 entrants. Best wishes to all.
