well done lads

Of me: Very fatigued in the pre-race warm up, challenged up the first climb 300m into the race, put my body in front of everyone and applied as much pressure as I could until I was solo, started to feel good with a nice rhythm, then ran at my tempo. The gap grew steadily each lap. Splits: 8:59 ; 9:15 ; 9:22

Well, what can I say apart from WOO HOO :-)

You girls and guys have done yourselves proud, I am so happy for all of you , whether you medalled, or not, you have all given it your very best and as they say in the movies, "THE CREAM ALWAYS RISES TO THE TOP".

Enjoy yourselves, have a safe trip, that is if you aren't already home, rest well, and I hope to be able to see some, if not all of you soon.

Thanks for putting on a fantastic show, thanks for all the blog updates, the videos (Bruce, Janene and Ken), they certainly made me feel as though I was with you all.

Best wishes

Gary Bowen
