Local Runs 7km ; Hill Loop 10km ; 5km Warm down ; Recovery Run ; Tour de France Watching ; Mur-de-Bretagne 2011

Strong winds yesterday afternoon and overnight clearing to a lovely day with full sun, no wind. There were dolphins close to shore, a joy to be out there running. A 5km warm down to complete the morning. In the afternoon a recovery run. Another All nighter for me watching the Tour de France stage to vire, a great stage to watch with long break aways and lots of climbing, especially in the final kilometres with a super steep finish. There was a shuffle in the general classification and jersey colours. Next stages a start in my favourite Holiday destination Saint Malo
and finish with another climbing day at Mur-de-Bretagne. I ran this climb twice in 2011, both times before the start although the road closed early on with loads of spectators and I arrived later than planned having driven in from Redon after stealth camping there overnight. I found an alternate way to the Stage Finish summit by the back door including an unplanned visit to the helicopter landing paddock.
