Long Recovery Run 17km : Spikes in Use for the Tokyo Olympics

Late afternoon run of 17km for me as I awaited delivery of yet more running shoes, today Nike ZoomX Dragonfly track distance racing spikes. I already had three pairs, just one pair unused...I need backups :-) Down south Keith ran 4 X 500m, 1 X 300m on grass track. Splits were consistent with Keith building up some solid sessions.

If you look at shoes used in the Tokyo Olympics on track a variety of brand names are represented. Adidas, Puma and Nike are easy to spot. Nike Air Zoom Maxfly is most used for 100m to 400m, Nike Air Zoom Victory for 800m to 5000m, ZoomX Dragonfly for 1500m to 10000m. There may be other variants, they should be listed on the approved shoe list. Nike also have varieties for field events. All shoes must be freely available for all athletes to purchase (level playing field). My purchases of the Nike Air Zoom Victory and Nike ZoomX Dragonfly have arrived this week.
