Recovery Day Indoor Training ; Tour de France watching ; Mark Cavendish Most Winningest 35 stage wins

Some rain about this morning, a delayed start to fast running while the weather breaks. I will get most of my training done indoors this morning. last evening a painfully slow start to Tour de France with a late breakaway forming to restore normalcy. Some drizzle about in France too, some crashes and a sprint finish with more crashes. Mark Cavendish finally grabbed his 35th Tour de France victory making him the Winningest rider in Tour de France History. He had some useful help from his Astana team to get him into position for riding the wheels until switching to the left and breaking clear for a top win. Bravo Mark. During his best years I was cheering always for Robbie McEwen. My biggest memory of Mark was winning at La Grande Motte in 2009 with his lead out team, I had Swine flu and only enough strength to rest in the sun watching on the big screen. PS there is a great cameo in the highlights package of his former faithful leadout Mark Renshaw cheering on from the support vehicle...Golden moment.
