Lac Genin 4 x 6 minute efforts ; Tour de France Stage 9 Nantua to Chambery

Up this morning early at Lac Genin for a long hilly run including 4 x 6 minute efforts, then a visit of the start of stage 9 from Nantua to Chambery, another run, 6km. After the start at Nantua we drove to Bourget du Lac, the base of the finish of the climb up Mont du Chat. 10km walk up in reverse, does not count as training. Finished the day in Lyon, same hotel I used in World Masters Athletics Championships 2016.

Of course this was the day I heard on radio 'gross chute, Richie Porte, Dan Martin' coming down Mont du Chat. I saw Dan come down on bike, assumed rightly it was Richie in ambulance with sirens blazing.
