Stromlo XC 20km incl 8 x 500m, 500m jog recovery
Afternoon run at Stromlo XC circuits of 20km including 8 x 500m strides,500m jog recovery. Weather cool, windy, partly sunny. I struggled to find a rhythm in those conditions, starting at 3:48/km eventually getting dow to 3:02/km. I never really got warmed up. That concludes week 7 of this base training block with just 100km for the week. I did nothing at all on the rainy day last week. The rest of the week will be horrible weather with snow in Canberra and lots of rain predicted. It should clear by the weekend and Parkrun. I'll fit in whatever I can when I can.
