Glasshouse Rocks Long Beach Intervals 12km ; Long Warm Down ; 129km Week

Another Magic Morning under half moon at Glasshouse Rocks for a set of 4 x 3 kilometre efforts on fast, firm sand, no wind and a vivid sunrise racing Munchkin the Border Collie. Again there were extra dogs on the beach chasing Ball, a walker and a photographer back for a second day to nail the sunrise with camera. Munchkin and I just ran until the session was done and headed home where we did a full warm down on the coast path and chatted to or patted assorted dogs and owners. 18km for the day.129km last 7 days.

A big weather event is brewing for much of my local area this afternoon and weekend. Up to 100mm predicted to fall with damaging winds. I've been through a few of these periods now. I've started setting up for indoor training. This morning a quick trip to the shop for supplies that the puppy will eat, another short run solo, and a short puppy training session of fetch the ball. I ran 80 minutes just before the weather arrived. Tassie Masters Athletics posted this video from the Australian Masters Athletics Championships mixed XC race a few days ago on their Youtube site. A great memory from such a great event.
